Police have arrested a Penn Yan man after he allegedly was found on two separate dates to be in possession of more than one gram of methamphetamine.
The first incident involving Gregory Jackson was back on October 2nd when he was stopped by Penn Yan Police leaving an area they had under surveillance. Lab testing of the substance he was allegedly found to be in possession of came back as 1.72 grams of meth. The 51-year-old was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Jackson was also charged with a second felony count stemming from an incident that happened back on September 24th. An unknown substance he was found to have on him then was sent to a lab for testing and came back as 1.27 grams of meth.
Jackson was released on appearance tickets for Penn Yan Village Court.
