The investigation into a complaint of one person threatening to attack another in the village of Penn Yan resulted in the arrest of a 19-year-old.
Roger Johnson is also accused of pushing through the victim’s bedroom door and threatening to attack them. Police discovered the victim also had an active refrain from order of protection against Johnson.
Johnson was charged with harassment and criminal contempt.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
