A Penn Yan man was arrested Tuesday after deputies located him at the Ontario County Jail on an outstanding bench warrant.
The Yates County Sheriff’s Office says 35-year-old Eric Ronchi was taken into custody on a warrant issued by the Town of Milo Court for failure to appear.
Deputies arrested Ronchi at the Ontario County Jail and transported him to the Yates County Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment during the next session of Yates County CAP Court.
No further details were released.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
