The Penn Yan Police Department arrested Emmanuel Dykeman, age 28, of Penn Yan, following a report of a physical domestic dispute within the Village.
Dykeman allegedly subjected another individual to unwanted physical contact. Investigators determined the incident occurred in the presence of children.
Dykeman was taken into custody and transported to the Penn Yan Police Department for processing. He was later turned over to the Yates County Jail to await centralized arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
