A Penn Yan man was arrested Sunday on a domestic violence charge.
John Knapp, Junior, is accused of kicking in the front door of a residence at 1933 Ridge Road in Penn Yan resulting in damage.
Knapp was charged with criminal mischief and criminal contempt and was brought to the Yates County Public Safety Building to await arraignment.
