A Penn Yan man is facing multiple charges following a domestic incident that allegedly violated an active order of protection.
Police say 41-year-old Antos Roderick is accused of striking another village resident in the face with an object he intentionally threw. The victim is reportedly the protected party in an active stay-away order of protection against Roderick. Roderick was charged with Criminal Contempt, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Harassment.
Roderick was taken into custody and transported to the Penn Yan Police Department for processing. He was later released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
