A Penn Yan man was arrested Wednesday night on a criminal contempt charge.
60-year-old Troy Rose is accused of attempting to call an individual multiple times who had an active order of protection against him as police were attempting to interview the protected party.
Rose was issued an appearance ticket for Penn Yan Village Court to answer the charge.
