A 19-year-old from Penn Yan was ticketed Saturday after police said he was allegedly in possession of an alcoholic beverage under the age of 21.
An investigation revealed Alexander Foster was in possession of alcohol with the intent to consume while in the passenger seat of a car that arrived at an accident scene on Hall Road in the town of Benton.
Foster was released on an appearance ticket.
