A local man has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child following an incident in the village of Penn Yan.
Jason Dunaway is accused of picking up another village resident’s crying child and screaming in that child’s face. The 30-year-old allegedly did this against the parents’ wishes and his actions allegedly caused the child to become more upset.
Dunaway was issued an appearance ticket for Penn Yan Village Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
