A Penn Yan man was arrested by Penn Yan Police after an investigation into a larceny complaint.
Michael Moore was found to have stolen a bottle of liquor from a local business on January 21st. Police located Moore at a location on Lake Street and attempted to take him into custody. The 45-year-old is also accused of resisting arrest during the incident and was taken into custody after a short struggle.
Moore was charged with petit larceny and resisting arrest.
Moore was processed at the department and then released on an appearance ticket to answer the charges in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
