Penn Yan Man Accused of Driving on a Suspended License

A Penn Yan man will appear in village court at a later date following a traffic stop in the Yates County Village.

According to Penn Yan Police, Matthew Kenney was spotted driving on Garfield Avenue while having a suspended New York State driver’s license after he allegedly failed to pay child support. A traffic stop was initiated and Kennedy was cited for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unauthorized stickers.

Kenney was released on appearance tickets for Penn Yan Village Court.
