On Monday, Penn Yan Police arrested a 15-year-old following an investigation into an illegal tattooing incident involving two minors.
The juvenile was charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the Second Degree. The arrest follows an investigation which determined that the 15-year-old allegedly gave another juvenile a tattoo without the required parental consent.
The juvenile was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Probation and Family Court at a later date to answer the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
