A Penn Yan man faces charges after police say he threatened several children with a cap gun.
Ryan Morris is accused of pointing the cap gun at the kids and discharging it with the children not knowing that the gun was a toy. The 30-year-old was charged with three counts of menacing and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Morris was being held at Yates County Jail for arraignment.
