An employee of a Palmyra business was arrested by Palmyra Village Police on a petit larceny charge.
Brianna Moon was arrested after an internal investigation conducted by management at the Corner Market revealed that a $100 bill had been unlawfully removed from the store’s secure safe. It is alleged that Brianna Moon accessed the safe without permission and took the money. Following a review of store records and interviews conducted by officers, Moon was charged with petit larceny.
Moon was released on an appearance ticket for Palmyra Village Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
