A Palmyra woman was arrested Wednesday by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of petit larceny.
The arrest of Lacey Johnson is the result of a crime in progress call from the Bliss Sure Fine in Manchester which revealed the 37-year-old allegedly concealed merchandise and passed all points of sale without rendering payment. The stolen goods, valued at $42.12 were recovered and returned to the store.
Johnson was issued an appearance ticket for Manchester Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
