A joint investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Social Services led to the arrest of a Palmyra man on a felony grand larceny charge.
35-year-old Marcus Wickham is accused of not reporting any income he was receiving, which violates the rules and regulations of the program. Investigators say as a result, Wickham collected more than $1,409.00 worth of SNAP benefits he was not entitled to.
Wickham was also charged with felony misuse of food stamps and was released on appearance tickets for Lyons Town Court.
