Palmyra Man Arrested on Assault Charge Following Domestic

A Palmyra man faces a number of charges related to a domestic incident that happened throughout the overnight hours of Sunday.

Anthony Leach is accused of throwing the victim’s clothes into the road when she was not home. Leach is also accused of locking the victim out of her apartment before he eventually let her in.  He then grabbed the victim by the hair and pushed her up against the wall. Police say the woman ended up on the ground and Leach used his foot to stomp on her hand resulting in an injury. The 29-year-old is also accused of causing damage to a television by kicking it.

Leach was charged with criminal mischief and assault and was sent to Wayne County Jail.
