A domestic incident in the Village of Palmyra earlier this month led to the arrest of a local man.
Police say 35-year-old Nicholas Bridson was taken into custody following an investigation into an incident on January 5. Investigators say Bridson threatened to kill a woman and used his body to prevent her from leaving the residence.
Bridson was charged with harassment in the second degree and unlawful imprisonment in the second degree.
He was processed at the Palmyra Police Department and later transported to the Wayne County Jail pending CAP arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
