A Syracuse woman and a juvenile are facing charges after allegedly stealing from the Dick’s Sporting Goods in Aurelius on Monday.
According to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office, 21-year-old Rahkeal Jones and the unnamed juvenile exited the store with two shopping carts full of stolen merchandise worth over $4,000.
Deputies were already in the area for the report of a fight unrelated to the events at Dick’s.
Jones was charged with Grand Larceny and is being held at the Cayuga County Jail without bail. The juvenile was issued an appearance ticket and released.
