A Pennsylvania man is facing a grand larceny charge after allegedly stealing from Bass Pro Shop.
The incident occurred on June 2 when Jason Cistola stole over $1,000 in marine batteries from the store by switching their tags, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
After being identified by the public on social media, the 47-year-old Old Forge man turned himself into authorities on September 9. Cistola was issued an appearance ticket for Aurelius Town Court for September 25.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
