An Ovid woman was arrested by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for violation of probation.
While on an unrelated call for service, deputies learned that while speaking with Stephanie Mcdonald she had an active warrant for her arrest due to her allegedly violating the terms of her probation.
Mcdonald was taken into custody for the warrant without incident and was brought to the Seneca County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
