A domestic disturbance in the town of Ovid early Tuesday morning resulted in the arrest of a 24-year-old Ovid man.
It is alleged that Matthew Steel got into a domestic incident with a victim in the presence of a child. Steel was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, harassment, and aggravated family offense.
Steel was sent to Seneca County Jail, where he was being held to await arraignment in CAP Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
