A traffic stop in the town of Varick late Saturday night resulted in the arrest of an Oswego County woman.
According to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Amanda Wilsey was pulled over for speeding in a 35 miles per hour zone and for failing to maintain her lane of travel. Upon further investigation, the Williamstwon woman was arreted for aggravated driving while intoxicated after field sobriety tests were administered. Wilsey submitted to a chemical breath test, which resulted in a 0.21% BAC.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
