Ontario Woman Charged With Felony Grand Larceny

The investigation into a fraud complaint by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Social Services resulted in the arrest of a town of Ontario woman on felony charges of grand larceny and misuse of food stamps.

43-year-old Michelle Mills is accused of not reporting the income she was receiving to DSS while receiving SNAP benefits. As a result, Mills collected $1.219.00 in SNAP benefits she was not entitled to.

Mills was released on an appearance ticket for Lyons Town Court.
