SHARE NOW

An investigation into a reported domestic incident resulted in the arrest of a town of Ontario woman.

The arrest of Terry Bove stems from an incident in which she was allegedly involved in a physical altercation with two family members in the presence of a 4-year-old child. According to the investigation, the situation escalated from a verbal argument to a physical confrontation when Bove reportedly struck one of the victims. Concerned for their safety, the child called another family member for assistance. Upon the second family member’s arrival, Bove allegedly continued her aggressive behavior and began striking the second individual with the child still present.

When deputies arrived on the scene and attempted to take Bove into custody, she reportedly resisted arrest before eventually being secured.

Bove was charged with harassment, endangering the welfare of a child, and resisting arrest. She was transported to the Wayne County Jail, where she will await arraignment at CAP Court.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
