A town of Ontario man faces a number of charges following the investigation into a disturbance in Wayne County.
Christopher Kowalski is charged with two counts of harassment, criminal contempt, obstructing governmental administration, and disorderly conduct.
The charges stem from when Kowalski allegedly approached and entered a building to make contact with the victim. One of the victims had a full stay-away order of protection in place to protect herself from Kowalski. It was reported that Kowalski began yelling and striking the wall. He then allegedly kicked and punched the door, attempting to open the door of the locked office the victims were hiding in. It was reported that Kowalski made multiple threats to the victim with the order of protection and another victim that was locked in the office. When deputies arrived, Kowalski refused to follow police commands and approached them while making threats to intimidate them.
Kowalski was brought to Wayne County Jail to await arraignment.
