An Ontario man was arrested following an investigation into a family trouble by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
It is alleged that Michael Posato was upset with his ex-girlfriend driving on the grass. He then allegedly went downstairs and damaged property belonging to his ex-girlfriend. Once the ex-girlfriend arrived home and confronted Posato it is alleged he spit on her before grabbing her hair, elbowing her in the face, and throwing her to the ground.
Posato was charged with criminal mischief and harassment. He was brought to the Wayne County Jail to await arraignment.
New York State Police assisted in the investigation.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
