A traffic stop on State Route 96 in Farmington on Thursday resulted in the arrest of a Rochester man on drug charges.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Roberto Ramirez was allegedly found to be in possession of Fentanyl during the stop. The 45-year-old also had multiple outstanding warrants from local agencies.
Ramirez was transported to the Ontario County Jail where he was being held pending arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
