An Ontario County man has been arrested on grand larceny charges.
Samuel Montinarelli was taken into custody at the Ontario County Jail. An investigation by the sheriff’s office showed that from January 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024, Montinarelli allegedly failed to report the income he was receiving to the Ontario County Department of Social Services. In doing so, investigators say the 64-year-old Bloomfield man received $4,329 more in SNAP benefits than he would have if he had reported the income.
Montinarelli was processed and held at the Ontario County Jail for CAP arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
