An inmate at the Ontario County Jail was arrested by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday on a bench warrant issued out of Ontario County Court.
Cierra Smith was taken into custody on a violation of probation warrant out of the city of Geneva.
The 25-year-old was being held at the Ontario County Jail for arraignment and will later appear in the respective courts to answer the warrants.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
