Ontario County Deputies Arrest Rochester Woman on Warrant

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Rochester woman Sunday on an active warrant out of the Rochester Police Department.

The arrest of Sharon Ganit stemmed from sheriff’s deputies conducting a traffic stop. The warrant for the 47-year-old was for a previous incident that happened in the city of Rochester.

Ultimately Ganit was taken into custody without incident and turned over to the Rochester Police Department.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
