A Wayne County man was taken to the hospital after a two-car crash on Tuesday in the Town of Sodus.
Deputies say it happened on Ridge Road near North Geneva Road when Donald C. Quigley, who was driving westbound, struck another vehicle that had slowed to yield to an eastbound school bus.
Investigators determined Quigley was following too closely, leading to the collision. He was transported to Newark-Wayne Community Hospital with chest pain.
The other driver was not hurt.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Wallington Fire Department and Wayne County EMS.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
