On Sunday, the Macedon Police Department arrested a 36-year-old North Rose woman following an investigation into a shoplifting incident.
Kayla Harris was taken into custody and charged with Petit Larceny. Following her arrest, Harris was processed and released on an appearance ticket.
She is scheduled to appear in the Macedon Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
