The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Newark woman following a crash in the Town of Romulus.
Deputies say 30-year-old Kristina Allport was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, after allegedly being involved in a single-vehicle property damage accident on Saturday.
An investigation determined that Allport had consumed alcohol before driving. Deputies say she submitted to a breath test, which showed a blood alcohol content of 0.13%.
Allport was also ticketed for leaving her lane unsafely and released on an appearance ticket. She’s scheduled to appear in Romulus Town Court on December 19 to answer the charges.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
