An 18-year-old from Newark was arrested Tuesday by Seneca Falls Police on a warrant stemming from a physical altercation at a local business that occurred last month.
According to police, during the confrontation, Yusef Alsaidi allegedly grabbed the victim and wouldn’t allow him to leave. Alsaidi is accused of following the victim to their home.
Alsaidi was charged with harassment, stalking, menacing, and unlawful imprisonment. He was brought to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
