The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Newark man following a larceny investigation at the Dollar General in the Town of Lyons.
Deputies say 49-year-old Jermaine Richardson was taken into custody after allegedly stealing $73.82 worth of items from the store.
Richardson was charged with petit larceny and transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing. He was later released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court on October 21, 2025, at 8:30 a.m.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
