The investigation into a larceny that happened at the end of August at the Newark Byrne Dairy store has resulted in the arrest of a 35-year-old Newark man.
It is alleged that on August 31st, Terrance Barber stole three cartons of cigarettes totaling $416.54. Barber had been previously banned from the store. The Wayne County Sheriff’s office charged Barber with criminal trespass and petit larceny.
Following his arraignment, Barber was released back into the custody of the Wayne County Jail where he is being held on an unrelated charge.
