A Lyons man was arrested Saturday by Newark police on drug charges.
Calvin Solomon was allegedly found to have a vial that appeared to be used to smoke crack cocaine. The residue from the vial was field-tested and tested positive for crack cocaine.
Solomon was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia and was released on an appearance ticket for Newark Village Court.
