Seneca County authorities say a Newark man is facing multiple felony charges after an alleged burglary.
39-year-old Joseph Lamb was arrested last Friday night on charges of burglary in the third degree, possession of burglar’s tools, and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Sheriff’s investigators say Lamb allegedly forced his way into a building in Ovid. During the investigation, deputies searched his vehicle and found tools that could be used to break into buildings, along with suspected methamphetamine.
Lamb was being held at the Seneca County Jail because of prior felony convictions.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
