A Newark man was arrested by Newark Police on a charge of petit larceny.
Austin Hogan is accused of entering the Newark Mini Mart on West Union Street, concealing an Eagle Torch lighter and leaving the store without rendering payment.
The 29-year-old Hogan was released on an appearance ticket for Newark Village Court.
