On Sunday, June 16th, 2024, at 8:44 pm, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested John M. Hotchkiss, age 32, of Newark, NY, following a traffic stop on Balsley Rd. During the roadside investigation, it was determined John was operating his vehicle while intoxicated. John was charged with one count of speed in zone, a violation, one count of driving a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08% or higher, and one count of driving while intoxicated, both felonies, due to a previous DWI conviction. John was issued an appearance ticket, to return to the Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date. It was also determined John had an outstanding warrant out of the New York State Police. He was turned over to their custody.
