The investigation into a domestic dispute in the village of Newark resulted in the arrest of a 40-year-old Newark man.
Dennis Smith was charged with harassment and criminal mischief following the investigation conducted by the Newark Police Department.
Smith was brought to Wayne County Jail and was released from police custody following his arraignment in CAP Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
