Newark Man Accused of Smashing Picture at Police Department Following Arrest

Two separate incidents resulted in the arrest of a Newark man.

David Perry was initially charged with harassment following a domestic incident in which he allegedly became physical towards his ex-girlfriend, which resulted in marks on her face.

Perry was later charged with criminal mischief after he allegedly smashed the glass portion of a decor picture at the Newark Police Department.

Following his arraignment, Perry was sent to Wayne County Jail to await CAP arraignment.  An Order of Protection was requested on behalf of the ex-girlfriend.
