A Newark man is facing charges of harassment and resisting arrest following an incident on Friday in the Wayne County village.
It is alleged that 40-year-old Nathaniel Clay struck another person with an object he threw during a domestic dispute. While attempting to place Clay into custody, he allegedly resisted.
Clay was sent to the Wayne County Jail following his arrest by the Newark Police Department.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
