A traffic stop in Wayne County Friday night resulted in the arrest of a Newark man.
Roberto Lara-Gutierrez was stopped by sheriff’s deputies for allegedly having an inadequate headlamp and upon further investigation it was determined that he was allegedly driving in an intoxicated condition. Lara-Gutierrez was taken to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office where he voluntarily submitted to a chemical test, which determined his BAC to be .16%.
Lara-Gutierrez was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a BAC of .08% or greater and other vehicle and traffic offenses. He was released on appearance tickets for Marion Town Court.
