Newark Man Accused of Driving While Intoxicated

A Newark man was arrested early Sunday morning following a traffic stop in Arcadia. 41-year-old Belton Dunagan was pulled over after deputies allegedly observed him violating a state vehicle and traffic law.

A further investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office determined Dunagan was allegedly driving while intoxicated. He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath test and multiple traffic violations.

Dunagan will appear in Arcadia Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
