A traffic safety checkpoint setup Sunday morning by Seneca Falls Police and State Police resulted in the arrest of a 28-year-old Newark, New Jersey, woman.
During a traffic stop, police say they determined Jennifer Hammond was driving her car while impaired by drugs and while having a suspended license in New York. Hammond was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Hammond was released on appearance tickets for all charges and will appear in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
