A disturbance at the Brockhuizen in Wayne County on Sunday resulted in the arrest of a 72-year-old Williamson man.
It is alleged that Raymond Caccamis was verbally confronted by his neighbor for pouring hot water on the outside stairs. Following that confrontation, it is alleged that Caccmmis came up from behind his victim and wrapped his arms around his neck, applying pressure.
Caccamis was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing and then turned over to the Wayne County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
