On Thursday, Nicole White was arrested for Petit Larceny following a reported theft at the Walmart on Recreation Drive in the Town of Hopewell.
Deputies responded to the store at approximately 2:30 p.m. to investigate a larceny complaint. Following an investigation, the 49-year-old Naples resident was accused of stealing $202.45 worth of merchandise.
White was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge in Hopewell Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
