On Monday, a Naples man was arrested on felony charges following a traffic stop in the Village of Naples.
Deputies with the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office stopped 40-year-old Jerad Lefave at approximately 8:10 p.m. for an inoperable headlight. During the investigation, deputies allegedly discovered Lefave was in possession of metal knuckles.
Lefave was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree. He was also issued citations for driving with an inoperable headlight and failure to wear a seatbelt.
Lefave was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await CAP court arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
